do you cover remote

depositions?

While we are able to record Zoom depositions, it is against our policy to send these recordings to counsel. This action would impose liability if we did so, as off-the-record discussions could be inadvertently captured. β€œThe NCRA Committee on Professional Ethics has determined that a reporter may not act as both a videographer and the verbatim reporter for the same proceeding.” The paramount duty of the reporter is to provide an accurate stenographic record of the proceeding.

We only record for the purpose of transcription production, as we would with audio-recording capabilities during an in-person deposition. If you require a video recording of your remote deposition, our professional in-house videographers can provide this service either remotely or in person with the deponent.
